Spring Break - Montana style

Brennar got his first spring break this year, so we decided to head on up to Montana - two kiddos, two dogs and the two of us.  We left Easter Sunday about 1 ish (naptime) and it turned out to be a great decision.  Both kids were asleep before we even hit the interstate.  They did only sleep for 90 minutes or so, but we hardly heard a peep out of them the entire drive.  We stopped once in Casper to use the bathroom, let the dogs out and get a bite to eat but that was it.  We made it there by 9, with only the 45 minute stop in Casper.

My mom took a bunch of pictures so of course I didn't:(  But we had a really great time.  We took the kids to Chuck E. Cheese, the circus, to feed the ducks, Uncle Shann and Auntie Ericka came over to play as well as nightly and sometimes morning hot tubs:)

Brennar and Brilee takin a spin around the living room

I just love these two so much, but seriously how could you not!

This picture looks NOTHING like Brennar - it is crazy that someone can even take a picture and it hardly resembles them
And one final shot of my little pig-tailed snaggle-tooth - she has 7 teeth now.  In case you are interested, her bottom 2 front, 1 top front and then all her 12 month molars...not sure why they are coming in that way, but hey, after 15 months of not having a single one, we will take them any way we get them:)

Easter

Easter is almost as fun as Christmas when you have littles around!!  Brennar and Daddy built an Easter Bunny "school", don't you dare call it a house!!! I didn't get a finished product picture but Brennar did all the decorating and it was awesome!
Is he not the most dapper little dude you ever saw!!
And then when you add in this little lady, you have the perfect pair!!!
I'm not sure I have ever said it before... but Brilee adores her big brother:)
They held hands but were too excited to really stand still - so bummed her eyes are closed!

The Easter bunny did manage to come.  He left his "poop eggs" all over the basement.  Why you would call them poop and still be ok eating the chocolate inside is a mystery to me!
They both did so good finding there specific eggs. Brennar's all had a B on them so if he found one of Brilee's he immediately called her over to pick up hers.

It was a very fun morning at the Stapp house!

The Bradley's visit

My cousin, Kelsey, and her family came to visit us the last weekend in March.  We had such a good time.  It was so fun to see the kids play together. Its those little things that you take for granted, but we loved just hanging out.  They had quite the experience getting here.  There was lots of snow in Denver and they were supposed to arrive about 6 pm and didn't get in until 2 am!!! No fun for someones first plane ride!

We didn't get to see each other really until the next morning. It took Tristan and Brilee a little while to warm up to the new people, but Brennar took the reigns and made everyone feel right at home.

We went out on night to our favorite place, Benihana, and I don't think they were disappointed.  But, maybe no one likes it as much as we do.  Either way, it was really nice to get some adult only time.  We took the kids to the aquarium the next day and they all did really well.  But, my kiddos were all over the place so I didn't get any pictures.  We got home just in time for my brother to come up for a couple nights.

Brilee got to love up on both the puppies - she was in animal heaven- when they weren't jumping on her

The last morning before they went home - Brennar and Tristan sat oh so nicely to read a book together!  We can't wait to see them again this summer!!!!

Introducing Kula Stapp!

So sorry it has been so long!!! So just to begin here are the most fantastic kiddos ever!

LOVE this picture - almost as much as I love him!! Shows his perfect little sweet personality
So, we decided we needed a little happy in our lives after the not so happy few months we had had.  Which meant - we were getting a puppy.  Here is a picture of our little Kula girl and Alex's little Lucy.  Aren't they so sweet and precious?? We are in love!
We mostly got Kula for Brilee - she will be the little girl who brings home any stray pet she can find.  She loves animals so much!  Stuffed or real.  She loves Koda but he just doesn't want to be messed with the way Brilee wants to "pet" him.  So what better than a golden retriever!

She is the perfect addition to our family.  Although the kids just don't understand why she jumps and bites them - hopefully she grows out of that quickly!!
