First day of school

After our fun-filled 2 weeks, school started, August 15th

Brennar was all ready to go, picked himself out a shark shirt, what else!

The sad thing about this picture is next year Brilee will be holding a sign too:(

Back pack on and ready to head out the door
mommy need one picture with her big preschooler
Brennar and his teacher, Mrs. Hassa, it's the same teacher he had last year, so that was nice for both of us

He jumped right in!!

And as a special treat for the first day, we went out for ice cream for lunch! Oh the benefits of having a mommy who is pregnant and loves ice cream!!

Boy or Girl????

And the time has come to find out....

I bought pink and blue balloons for the occasion

I took advantage of taking pictures with the kids and balloons before the big reveal, of course Brilee only wanted hers taken with pink
But she cooperated a little for some blue too
And Brennar only wanted his with blue, he wouldn't even entertain the idea of pink balloons
LOVE this picture so much!!!
This looks like a birthday party picture to me, but oh so cute!
We went outside with all our family, my parents were on the computer ready for it
And, baby Stapp is a BOY!!!!!

Brennar is beyond thrilled!!!

Brennar asked if we could cut the balloons and send them up to heaven. I asked if he wanted Bella and Beckett to have them and he said well ya mommy and then he threw in at the end "and I want Grampa Ed to have one, too" I love that he understands what heaven is and that Grampa is with Bella and Beckett up there

Grama Debbi bought all the kids outfits from the Disney store - so of course they had to show us them all that night too!

We couldn't be more excited about adding another little boy to our family! He is already so so loved!

Denver Aquarium

And continuing on with our "shove everything fun into these last 2 weeks" we headed to the aquarium.
Nothing special in this picture, just wanted one of the 2 of them
Brennar told daddy about every fish he saw
She doesn't look like a 1 almost 2 year old here:(  She looks about 4!
Can't see it, but there is a giant sting ray behind him
Brennar and the eel and what he said were nurse sharks - Im not so sure, but he is a shark expert
She wanted to try everything
Can you see that tiger coming down? if you didn't know there was glass, this would be a creepy picture!
And we rode the train outside, we never miss a chance to ride a train!

Maddi and Drew day

Debbi had Maddi and Drew for a few days, so we met up with them and went down to a place that is like a huge jungle gym for kiddos. We have only been there a few times so the kids loved it. But then again they love everything they do with their cousins.

See, top of the slide picture again!
These four really do  have such a good time together even though there is a big age gap.  Maddi and Brennar have a great connection and Brilee and Drew have the same one.  Love them all!!
Brennar and Drew on the huge slide - they went up and down this, probably 10 times in a row
Maddi holds Brilee as much as she can, and Brilee has figured out that Maddi will do this and asks her all the time

One of my all time favorite pictures, Maddi and Brilee dressed up in their matching dresses - but how adorable is Brilee looking up at Maddi and holding her hand? Priceless!

Park time!

We got up early one morning and decided to take the kids for a picnic breakfast at the park. We stopped by Starbucks and all got some oatmeal and we headed over to a park near our house.

Brennar had a blast climbing - there isn't very many parks we go to that have structures like this, so he loved it
But he got stuck at the top and had to have daddy come rescue him:)

Brilee loved all the animals to ride and climb on - she sure still loves those animals

A tire swing also was a new thing
I just love her little profile
But I love her smile even more!

I have a weird fixation with taking pictures of the kids on the tops of slides, thankfully they pretty much oblige me:)
