Rounding out August

We had a wonderful, fun-filled summer, but I am ready to get into our fall routine again.

Im not sure who had more fun at the park:)
It was confirmed, that we are definitely having a baby brother and he looks perfect!

Clint and Brennar took in a Rockies game - Clint said Brennar really enjoyed watching it, so that was good to hear!

And he was rewarded with a little cotton candy for he good attitude:)

These are all pictures I was able to steal from my moms camera:) I sure do have some cute kiddos!!
Brilee fell and skinned her knee, so she was in the back of the car getting a little first aid, she really played it up!

Game Day

And the day finally arrived!! Grampa Todd flew in for the weekend just to watch his game, Grama was still here.

Just getting a few practice kicks in before the game
This is Brennar's least favorite part of the game - sitting out - Daddy had to explain over and over that all the kids get to play:) I am pretty sure Clint was beyond thrilled with Brennar feeling this way
Brennar made one of the first goals!!!

Zac also was recruited to play - after not really caring at all about practice, he did great in the game
Water break

Half-time - I think Eli was giving the rest of the team a pep talk here:)
Brilee did great and actually watched the game
And she was a great cheer leader!
Brennar made 4 goals during the game - it was adorable
The tunnel after the game - see that face - he loved every minute of the day!! Go Sharks!!

Brennar starts soccer!

Brennar started his first "real" team sport. I didn't really know he would do, as he has the attention span of about 5 minutes and plays by his own rules whenever he plays with his daddy, but he did awesome.

I mean, seriously, he did awesome!!

Stretching before practice, right next to Coach Jason
Have you ever seen anything as adorable as a bunch of 3 year olds playing soccer!

Brennar and Eli are on the same team, so he thinks that is awesome!
Warm-ups

And a few action shots! I have been waiting all summer for this to start, really I have! Can't wait to see the "Sharks"  - yep Brennar suggested the name and it won! - play their first game!!

Hawaii

Clint and I went to Hawaii the last week in August, kind of a baby moon for us, but more for the reason that we probably wont be going anywhere sans kids for quite awhile now with number three coming
Baby Stapp thoroughly enjoyed himself on the trip - he loved just lounging around:)

Clint taking a little break from golf - we got stuck behind a VERY slow group
This is a favorite of the kids' so we took a picture with it - actually we took pictures with anything that the kids would even remotely remember
Our dinner view one night

If you read this blog you probably recall all the birds at the resort - unfortunately, Butterscotch, the bird the kids liked the best wasn't there anymore
But they do now have 2 black tip reef sharks - and the reason I knew exactly what kind they were is curtesy of Mr Brennar Stapp - but not going to lie, teared up a little when I saw them and he wasn't with to see too
How we spent most of our time
I read a lot, while Clint played on the iPad
It is not easy to get pictures together when our travel photographer (aka Grama Honey) isn't there!
On our second trip to Kona we heard about a place that served coconut pancakes, it is about an hour away so not real feasible with the kids, but we went this time and they were so good!!! This picture doesn't do it justice, they are huge and delicious and this was all I could eat, and let me remind you I am eating for 2!!
19 weeks!
Out of one of the hotels - if you look hard you can see Maui above the clouds - that's where we are going on our next trip in June!!
The lagoon where the kids usually play was closed to swim for 3 of the days we were there because of this visitor - we were standing on a bridge as it left the lagoon, but it was back the next morning

This would never get old
And we saw the whale shark again, Brennar loves seeing this each trip:)

We sure had a great time, but it was much easier to leave this time knowing I was coming back to my babies!!
