June wrap up

I'm slowly but surely getting caught up on our summer!

Clint bought the kids a slip and slide - I am not real sure who enjoyed it more

This is how it ended:) Brennar didn't so much like to go on his belly, he preferred the less water in the face method of his butt or knees

Bryden watched all the fun from the safety of his swing

He has the best smile ever!!

I found a sprinkler in our garage a few days later after an evening walk, so we set it up and let them run through it in their clothes - that is what summer is all about right?!?!

Father's Day

I think Clint had a pretty good Father's Day this year

These 2 cuties made him breakfast

And then brought it up to him in bed - the kids actually slept in so Clint had to sneak back upstairs to bed once they got up so they could bring it to him:)

I love this picture of them- it really is all of their personalities perfectly

 

I needed to get a picture with my kiddos too, since I'm usually the one behind the camera

We made him a frame with these pictures in it, I LOVE how it turned out. I made him keep it on our bedroom instead of taking it to work!



But really, who wouldn't have a great Father's Day when these are the 3 reasons you even get to celebrate it!!

We went up the road from the resort for dinner at these shops.  That was my only complaint about the hotel was that there just wasn't really very many kid-friendly places to eat

I tried getting them to use the boogy boards but they didn't really get the hang of it

Couldn't have asked for a better week, it was amazing. Counting down until we can go again!!!!

Hawaii Part 2

One of the activities I set up for us was to go for a ride on a submarine.  Me, Brennar, Brilee and my dad were the only brave souls. It really was pretty cool. We took a shuttle boat out to the middle of the ocean and from there climbed onto and into a sub that they had anchored there.  We saw so many new kinds of fish and were even lucky enough to see a shark! Brennar was in heaven.

 We had to drive to Lahaina to catch the sub so we walked around the streets for a bit and happened to find the most amazing shave ice place.  My friend had told me there was one there and said it was great but didn't necessarily think we would go out of our way to find it. So when we happened upon it we stopped and oh. my. gosh. SO good, I am still craving it.  There was another one down close to where we were staying so we did search out that one later in the week

Brennar's flavor was cotton candy, not much for a color change but he needed a pic anyways

Bryden got a little fussy on the way back to our hotel so we pulled over at a look out.  If Brennar would have leaned any farther forward he would have ended up in the sea

The resort had an awesome pool, Tons of water slides, a lazy river, a swim up bar and a water elevator.

The pool also had a tarzan swing. I didn't think he was big enough to go on it, but towards the end of the week I saw a dad get under it and his little boy jumped to him so we had Brennar try it.  It only took once of Clint being under him and he did it on his own, over and over and over.  Honestly no less then 50 times, seriously!

Waiting in line for his next turn.  He was freezing but didn't care, just jumped, got out and stood in line repeatedly
