Brilee Grace is 4!

Brilee Grace turned 4 last week, although she acts a little more like 24!! She decided against having a party this year and instead decided to have a girls day with me!! Our plan was to go down to Denver for a night and do girly things, but the weekends just sort of got away from us so I decided to take her and her 2 best friends and Brennar to do a fun day out instead.

First stop, Red Robin. This girl loves it there, although now that they aren't quite as family friendly I am not really sure why.  But, that is where she wanted to eat.

Addy and Brennar playing a little tic tac toe before the food came

Brilee and Bria
Next stop was pedicures for the little girls, me and Brennar hung out on the couch together while they got them done

Then we went and painted some pottery - Brilee choose a puppy:)  I'm pretty sure she has about 4 of them now

Our last stop was for cupcakes and presents.  It really was the perfect little day for her
She really looks so grown up to me

For her actual birthday she decided on a puppy party - I wasn't exactly sure what that meant but we did the best we could

Grama Debbi gave her the bake shop for her new American Girl doll that Maddi and Drew gave her...but Bryden sort of took it over
And this was the cake she picked out from Baskin Robbins, it did the job:)

Happy Birthday sweet girl!!! I hope you never lose that spunky, sassy but still oh so sweet little personality you have! We love you!!

Birthday Surpirse!

Art and Debbi have some friends that own a few horses, one being a retired therapy horse and they set up a little riding session for the kids, namely Brilee, for a little surprise the day before she turned 4

The kids loved every second of being with Durango
Bryden thought he was such a stud - but you know, he is!

The owner made a comment about Brennar being a little cowboy - I think that is the "made in MT" part of him:)

This smile never left her face

I'm actually not sure which one of them had the best time - it was so fun for all of them and for us watching their little faces beaming - I think there may be a little more horse-back riding in our future!

First day of school

Can't believe the time has finally come, but summer is over, and school is back in session, crazy!!! And to top it off, I have a KINDERGARDNER!!!!

Miss Brilee started first, she moved up to the Pre-K class, which is 3 days a week now - it already is weird having her gone that much.
This dude wanted his picture taken too, next year at this time he may even get to go to school for himself, ahhhhh!!
She was so very excited
Especially because she loves her new unicorn backpack

Brilee has the same teacher again this year, so that made everything easier on both her and I!

And then Friday, Brennar had his first day

It was so weird seeing him standing there ready to go into a "big" school
He was ready, I probably shouldn't have gotten there so early, it was torture just standing there waiting for him to walk away from me
And there he went :(

They both came out of their first days with gigantic smiles, talking about what they did, their teachers, their friends, it really was great, but oh so hard on this mama. On Brennar's first day we had to drop Brilee off first and I was getting out of the car with her and one of the teachers made a comment about why Brennar wasn't getting out too, and then corrected herself about knowing he was moving schools and I lost it - I think I got a hug from each of the teachers at Brilee's school, I like to think a little of my over emotional reaction is all the hormones, but I am pretty sure I would have done the very same thing pregnant or not!

Estes fun park

We also spent a lot of time on our "camping trip" at this fun park

The go-carts were a big hit

As was the flying trapeze

Seriously, they loved it
The giant slide looked like so much fun - Brilee really did enjoy it, she probably went 5 times in a row

I couldn't ride anything, but the bumper boats had a water squirter that someone could control while the boats were going - and let me tell you, did I have fun drenching Clint and Brennar!

Bryden tried a little spraying himself
The slide was the only thing that Bryden could partake in, but my goodness, did he LOVE it!! He had the biggest smile on his face the entire length of the slide

It wasn't at all like the trip we were planning to take but I think it is safe to say we all had a wonderful few days none the less
