July 4th and Wild Animal Sanctuary

Brilee asks almost weekly to go to the Wild Animal Sanctuary, but it is just so expensive, they finally have allowed a membership type thing so we took the kids last week. It was pretty hot but they had fun.

My favorite animal there is the white tiger

I sure wish I could be pushed around in a stroller by someone every time we go out:)

Bryden really seemed to like the bears

I'm not sure what the male version of diva is, but whatever it is, this one is it!

I had plans to have all of our friends over on the 4th for a BBQ and our wonderful landscapers made that impossible, I was pretty disappointed, but at least these 4 helped

The Rusaw's were nice enough to ask us over for dinner that night even though I cancelled on them, these 8 always have fun together:)

July has come!!

Where has the summer gone?? I feel like about the time July starts the summer is over, I know it's not, but it just seems to go by so much faster once it's July.

The absolute best big brother around

We had a fun playdate at the park with our friends, it's hard to believe when we first met them Brennar was 3 months and Eli 4 months, not to mention there was only 2 kids, now there are 7!

We had some landscaping done to our back yard and they had to do some cement, so lucky me I got to put my kids' prints in it - now I don't ever want to leave this house

The Bradleys visit!

My cousin Kelsey and her family came out for a week the end of June - we had the best time. Kids and grown-ups alike!

The waterslide had its first go of the summer

So much fun!

We went to the Denver Zoo, everyone did great. We saw all the animals, had a little ice cream and Kelsey let me buy Tristan a little present:)

We also went on a hike up in Estes and then took the kids to the summer fun park.

So we didn't quite make it the entire way up the mountain, but it was actually the grown-ups who were tired not the kids

The reason for their visit was for the transfer of their embryo to their surrogate, she happens to live about 20 miles from us. Not sure if you can tell, but this little dude is going to make one GREAT big

brother!!!

Brilee and Tristan really hit it off, guess 4 years old stick together:)

We also took the dads out to Finding Dory on Father's Day - it was cute - the parts that Brexten let me see anyways:/

The dealership had a little customer appreciation event, the kids enjoyed it, Fire man, police officers, a petting zoo

And... shave ice!!

This guy down here, is super dad. My 2 little boys stuck like glue to him. He watched all 5 kids so Kelsey and I could get out a bit, he did some Mr. Fixit stuff around the house, he played with the dog and took her on a walk, he cleaned up the dishes after every meal, and the list could go on...he is welcome back anytime:)

We got a sitter one night and headed out for a grown-up meal, it was so nice.

We had such a great time - we are looking forward to them visiting many more times in the next 9 months!

Wrapping up June

So, I think this is a picture all kids should have; climbing in the dishwasher. Clint thinks it's disgusting and I shouldn't let him do it. Too bad I'm the one who does all the dishes:)

Not only does he help with the dishes, he also helps unload groceries. And I use the term "help" very loosely!

This was last week one day, the house was a total disaster, some of us were dressed, some of us weren't, but we didn't care. They can just play and play together, I completely agree when I heard the saying "the best thing you can give your child is a sibling"

Bryden is finally getting to the age where he gets to cuddle with us at night sometimes, before he would just climb and bounce and mess around so he would always get the boot rather quickly, but now he is good. But, we've created a moster, EVERY SINGLE NIGHT on the way up to bed he says "cuddle your bed 2 minutes" How can you turn that down??
