Our summer fun

I've been doing my best to keep the kids busy, but not too busy this summer.  They have done a couple afternoon camps and then VBS at the preschool, but other than that we are going with the flow!

This guy thinks he can doing anything he wants, the reason I got this picture is because...the big kids were gone, the 2 little boys were napping and I was on the computer paying bills.  Well, about 20 minutes into I heard a noise, which I assumed was Bryden, he never came to get me so I went out and this is what I find. Brexten had climbed out of his crib, his mattress is literally on the floor so he used some mad athleticism to get out, then he proceed to open his bedroom door, come downstairs, push over the bar stool, climb up it and get himself a snack.  My days are never boring!

We took a little day trip up to Estes, I love it there. It reminds me of MT.

Brennar especially loves go-karts, so he was happy to get to this, as his younger brothers sat crying with me as they watched him

They were all sitting on the couch eating a snack before bed and laughing with each other so I snuck up and got a picture with genuine smiles from them, I love this picture so much!

They had such a great week at VBS, I was so bummed our church didn't do it, but the one at their preschool is so so good each year

Such a fun week.

Some friend invited us to their cabin for a little cookout, these 3 girls are all the same age, can you guess which one is mine?? I'll give you a hint, she doesn't have long blonde hair that looks just like mine...

I had an appointment in Denver with my doctor last week so we made a day of it. I made them come in and get a picture with my doctor.  I loved this guy so much, I drove monthly and then weekly for almost 7 years straight an hour each direction because he is so wonderful.  He placed these 4 babies in my arms and he held my hand when he told me I lost my other 2 babies.  I was so happy to finally have this picture of him and them, he did so much to help me get them all here safely and I could never thank him enough. 

After that appointment we headed to the zoo.  We love the zoo, really love it.  We honestly could go once a week I think

I also took them to a movie last week at our museum here in town.  They offer kids movies each Tuesday morning of the summer.  Last week was Beauty and the Beast

And she was even there at the end!

We invited all of our Stubbs friends over for a little waterslide fun. A great time was had by both the kiddos and the mamas..

Brilee's dance recital

Brilee had her first (and only) dance recital a couple weeks ago.  She cried every single day I took her to her dance class, although she always came out with a big smile on her face, but needless to say I won't be submitting her or myself to that torture next year!

But she loved every minute of her recital!

The more I look at these pictures, the more I see what a natural she is at the ballet poses, so maybe I'll have to rethink my above comment;)

Our church isn't doing VBS this year, they are doing family events together, the first one was a movie night, we invited Maddi and Drew, the kids were so happy they came

I asked a friend if she could crop out the girl next to her in the previous picture, so I could make a silhouette of Brilee and this is what she sends me back, are you kidding???? I am so in love!! It is being framed for her room right now, I can't wait to get it and show her!!

Summer means BASEBALL

Brilee started Tball this year.  Her first few games she looked like she hated every minute of it, but oh my gosh, does she have a blast now!!

She's still not a fan of putting on the catcher's gear though! Last weekend she got 4 outs even!!

Brennar is in coach pitch this year for the first time and he loves it too! He does so well at constantly watching where the ball is and who is on what base.  It really surprised me, but he definitely takes after his daddy out there

Brennar on the other hand, loves being catcher, he tells me every game if he is in the line of for playing catcher

And these two, they worship their big brother, it's so fun to watch

The last days of school!!

This year absolutely flew by, maybe it's because I had 3 kids in school and I was basically just a taxi driver for them, but regardless, it was here and then in was over:(

The preschool always does a little end of year performance, Bryden was so cute up there.  He is the only boy in his class with 7 girls, luckily he gets enough boy time at home:)

Brilee had her very own speaking part - she did awesome, I couldn't have done what she did at 33!!

And this is when the tears started to flow, Bryden walking across the stage to his teacher

 

I can't believe this girl gets to go to kindergarten next year!  She is so ready, but I am not:(

 

 

Brennar got to go to the zoo for a field trip, it got SNOWED out, yes snow, the last week of May, the original time they had scheduled it, so we did it the second to last day of school.  I went with, it was really fun to see him around his classmates

His very last day of school they had field day, it was super fun!! I only had Brexten with me, so he was good with staying in the stroller to watch the big kids.

When I saw the teacher that Brennar got last year for first grade, I was so sad, only because I had wanted him to have another teacher that I knew and not one that I knew nothing about.  But, as always, God knows way better what is right for my kiddo.  He had the best year!  She was absolutely amazing. Now I hope Brilee gets her in first grade!

Brennar was super excited to take a picture with Hailey:)  They actually are very good friends, he was just putting up a front!

Next up, 2nd grade, Kindergarten and 4 year old preschool!
