Brennar is 8!

Brennar turned 8 this week:(  It just seems so much older than 7, not sure why???

He had the choice of getting dessert out at the restaurant we went to our me making a cake for him and he picked dessert, I think we had all had enough frosting after our cookies!

But the poor kid had to hold his #8 candle, he didn't mind though

 

I'm not sure if he is always super excited about each specific gift he opens, but he does so good at seeming like he loves each and every one, sweet boy

After 2 years of asking I finally gave in and got him an Xbox, he was thrilled! 

I loved getting him something I know he REALLY wanted and wanted for a long time:)

 

We had dinner at Texas Roadhouse - he likes getting to sit on the saddle and having the entire restaurant wish him a happy birthday:)

Happy Birthday, Brennar Matthew - we love you even more today than the day you were born, and that was A LOT!  We're so proud of the kid you are, you are smart, caring, thoughtful, competitive, and kind, you are going to do big things!  We love you to Heaven and back, and farther than that! 

It's Christmas!

Brexten put himself in timeout after biting his brother!!

We spent Christmas Eve with Clint's family - it was super fun this year.  All my kids finally understood and just had fun playing with their cousins.  We also all wore matching Christmas pjs - my favorite part!

Christmas morning we always block the entry to the tree so they all see their Santa swag at the same time.

Bryden got hooked up by Auntie Liz, all the kids had a blast playing with his hotwheels garage

Brilee asked me for shoes with laces for Christmas, she taught herself to tie them after being shown once how to do it!

Holiday fun

I love Christmas and all the fun things we do leading up to it.

After a couple years off, we were able to do our friends Christmas again.  It's so fun to see all the changes, and by changes I really mean kids, that have been added each year!

 

Our Christmas always does a Christmas Eve Eve service, it is so nice for us since Clint is usually working Christmas Eve.

It finally snowed in Colorado!  The kids loved getting out there and playing!  It was freezing so they didn't last super long but they had fun while they were out there

Our annual cookie decorating competition - isn't so much a competition as it is getting all our cookies decorated without me doing them all;)
