Our July

July flew by for us again this summer, mostly because we were crazy busy with some really fun stuff and some not so fun stuff too.

We went back to MN with my moms family again, and we had such a great time.  Brennar did his fair share of fishing, he probably caught around 20 fish that week and loved each and every one:) my mom was taking pictures so I didn't that week - but of course I forgot to get them from her camera. (I have learned my lesson- Ill get my own from now on)

There is just nothing better then seeing your kids so happy doing the very same things you did at their age!! Although Brennar asked over and over to try water-skiing (maybe next year) but that is one thing I didn't ask to do:)

We had our friends over for a few playdates, I did get the camera out for one of them, but here is Brennar and Eli on the see-saw.
Brilee and Ava hangin in the shade- I did get some pictures with Zac in them - but he was naked (potty-training) and I didn't think he would want me posting those kind of pictures with him :)
My crazy kiddos, Brennar is a little blurry since he is jumping put that is pretty much how he is all the time, so why not capture it??
My little lady had another visit to the ER - another ear infection, so the next day we just hung out at home. Brennar was watching a movie where they make spider pizza so he requested we do the same
So what if it looks a little more like a sunshine then a spider:)
He loves himself some cheese:)
Brennar found some dress up clothes, so he was a cowboy for an entire day - must be that "made in Montana" he has in him:)
And my little lady got herself a Princess Sofia dress and she would hardly take it off
She wants a Sofia birthday party this year, so I thought it was only fitting that she had her very own dress to look just like her:)
And then, since Briee was getting dressed up, Brennar decided to dress up as a dino - T Rex to be exact! But doesn't he just look so great? This was his best "mean" face, but I just think its cute:)
Love her little face!!!
Alex brought Lucy back to MT so they stayed the night with us.  Kula and Lucy had a blast - they played so so nice together. Not sure if they knew they were sisters or not, but they sure had fun.

My grandpa Ed died in the middle of July.  It was so nice to be able to go and see all my family, but I was such a mess the entire trip.  He is my first grandparent to die and I guess I just never thought it would happen.  But the really cool thing is that I am pretty sure that my little Brilee Grace saw him!  We talked to Brennar about what had happened to him only because we had talked to him about Bella and Beckett so we thought he may be able to understand a little bit, but we never once talked to Brilee. The day after we got home, I was walking down the stairs holding Brilee's hand, and she said 3 times in a row that Papa died (grandpa), and that papa odd (grandpa Todd) was sad, then she told me papa in heaven and smiled.  She has never even heard the word died, so there is no way she could have known what it meant and how she could even relate Grandpa Ed to Grandpa Todd - that was the only thing she said and never once said another word about it.  How amazing is that!!! I have always thought that little ones can see things we can't and have had a couple different things happen with both kids that confirm it.  Makes me a little more at peace with it.

In the middle of all that Clint had a birthday in there! So once again we have narrowed that age gap from 3 years to 2, even if it is only for another 6 months:)

Rounding out our June

The last half of the month was pretty uneventful around our house, it was soooo hot, so we spent a lot of time in the pool or down stairs.

My little bathing beauty - only a few more summers until daddy puts the end to bikinis, but isn't she just adorable in one?
One of the many faces of Brilee Grace - definitely one of my favs!
Skinny little pirate boy
Brennar is starting soccer this fall, so daddy has been practicing with him in the backyard.

Brennar prefers to be the goalie most of the time - he apparently also prefers to do it in just underwear!
Here is Brilee and one of her new besties, Miss Julianna Marie - I got the girls matching outfits:)
Brennar and Kula cakes - they love each other
But our biggest news is... We are having another baby!!!! Woo who!! We are so happy!

The beginning of June

My loves!!! Aren't they all just so cute!

We took the kids up to Georgetown, CO for a little train ride.  I think the ride is about 30 minutes each way.  It was just the perfect amount of time.  We drove up in the morning hoping to spend some time in the mountains but it was crazy windy, so we pretty much stayed in out car until the train was taking off.  But once "the mountain train" in Brennar's words got going, the kids had a blast.
My little lady, just poses oh so well for pictures anymore:)
I was trying to get in a little photo shoot so I could make something cool for Father's Day, but didn't have much luck.  But, got a few cute shots

Brennar is always happy to comply with my picture taking!!

Here was the winner.

May, in a nut shell

Oh gosh, I just love Brennar's little smirk in this picture! He is such a sweet little man! I also love how they both want to sit next to each other and eat their snacks every day, hope that never changes!
Serioulsy, could he be any sweeter!
We celebrated Mother's Day with Clint's family - here is me and my littles before brunch!
Brennar asked to take our picture, not too bad for one of his firsts

Brilee with her favorite toys, stuffed animals, she always has one under each arm.

Clint and I took our first little trip away from the kids in mid-May. The dealership won a trip to Santa Barbara, so they offered it to us, I was terrified to leave them, but we never get to go on the trips so we jumped on the opportunity.  We were gone for 4 days, it was one night too many for me, but we all survived and Clint and I used it as our anniversary celebration.  We met some really fun people, went on a winery tour, walked around the city and just relaxed at the resort, it was really nice!

The last weekend of May, my parents came down to buy a new car, so we had a wonderful time with them.  I love when they are here, I just wish they could stay longer, Brennar always has so much he wants to do with them, the time just flies by!  On Memorial Day, I ran my first 10K and my first race since high school.  It was a lot of fun and I was so happy I did it.  My goal was to be under an hour, but I came in at 1:01:11, so close! But, I also used my phone to track my pace and it said I ran 6.55 miles instead of the 6.21 it was supposed to be, so I tell myself I would have made my time if not for that:)  There were thousands of people running, it was insane, the entire time I had to weave in and out of people so I think that is what made the race longer than it should have. But, I had so much fun, I will do my best to run it next year too!

Where do I even begin???

Well, I suppose I should take you back to April...it thankfully came and went with out any major issues:) That's always good at our house!  So, to start here are my most favorite kiddos

She is getting pretty good and doing some cheesy poses, but I guess what do I expect when I tell her to say cheese:)
Brennar had a playdate with the boy across the street, he is into the Octonauts too, so after he left, B asked for a picture with 2 of his Gups, I believe these are the Gup A and the Gup C to be exact:)
She loves everything her brother does!!
We had one final snowstorm - or what we thought would be the last one - so as soon as Brennar got home from school, out to the pirate ship we went.  He even made me save some snow because he was so distraught that it wouldn't snow again for quite a few months.  Still have that snow out in the freezer
Brilee and I went shopping while Brennar was at school one day and she picked him out a pair of sunglasses, so like the great big brother he is, he put them on for her as soon as we got home:)
Yep, Brilee is a Stapp in case anyone was questioning it...she loves her some pasta!
My dad had a meeting in Denver at the end of April, so he decided to stay with us all weekend. The kids were in heaven!!! It was the first time grampa was here without grama, and the kids took full advantage of every minute they had with him
Our little Kula girl, about 4 months old here

The last few hours before he went to the airport to go home - they didn't have to nap so they could hang out with him:)

It is so wonderful to see how much they love each other!

Cheese!!
