Family Pictures

We finally got our family pictures back... Yay!! I am very happy with them!

Thanksgiving, in Montana!!

We had a great trip out to Montana the last week. I went with just Brennar last Monday and Clint came early Thanksgiving morning to spend the rest of the weekend with us. The flight down was a little more fun then the others had been...Brennar doesn't think it is a good idea to have to sit still for longer than say, 30 seconds, so that, combined with missing a nap didn't make for the best time. Oh well, it was short and we made it safely. The first 3 days the highs were in the single digits so we were able to have fires. I absolutely love them, I am pretty sure that we have had one every visit since I moved to Colorado:)

He had the best Thanksgiving of any of us I think!!!

We gave him is very own piece of pumpkin pie and whip cream, as you can tell he thought it was pretty tasty!

So... the next day he got another piece:)

We had a great time, it was so nice to just sit and relax. Unfortunately, since it was soooo cold, we barely made it out of the house. I am pretty sure we left literally 3 times, so we didn't get to see everyone we were hoping too. Next time!!!

Busy, Busy, Busy!

We have a SUPER busy week this week so I just wanted to add a couple pictures - mostly for Grama Erin to see:)

Our week starts on Tuesday because Clint works Saturdays - so he gets Sundays and Mondays off. So, here is what we have

Tuesday am - Music class Tuesday pm - go view family pictures

Wednesday am - Bible study Wednesday pm - Bunco

Thursday am - church moms group Thursday pm - Nuggets game

Friday am - playdate Friday pm - dinner with friends

Saturday - Birthday party!!

See, busy!!

This is Brennar's favorite thing to do - he takes ALL the wipes out of the box at least 3 times a day:) He also thinks he is pretty funny - so this is him smiling at himself (with a mohawk!!) Here is his favorite new toy. Its seat opens and it is a walker - but right now he prefers to ride on it and be pushed:) And - if you made it through all that - here is a picture of him walking - yes you read that right, walking!! Can you believe it? He started walking on Saturday and that is all he does now!! crawling is so over-rated!!!

My First Halloween!

We had a super busy day on Halloween, fun, but busy! Brennar told me a couple months ago that he wanted to be an elephant because he liked seeing them on our San Diego trip:) So, of course, that is what he was! And, he was the cutest elephant I had EVER seen! I know I am biased, so here are a couple pictures so you can decided for yourself...

All in all, we had a great Halloween... bring on Thanksgiving!!

Grama Erin and Aunt Patti's visit

My mom came to stay with us a couple weeks ago while Clint was out of town for work so I didn't have to be alone. It was so nice!! Brennar is constantly, I'm not exaggerating at all, on the go. So, it was great to have somebody else to chase after him a little for me. My Aunt also came out for a few days - and all who know her, know she takes a million amazing pictures - so, here are a few of my favs:)

Family Pictures

Thursday we went and got our family pictures taken - I was a little upset that the photographer didn't take a lot of them - so I made Clint stay longer and do a couple more. Unfortunately that means that the pictures are either of Brennar and Clint or me and Brennar, no family ones :( Hopfefully I will be pleasently surprised and we will have a lot of good ones to chose from when we get them back!! Crossing my fingers anyways:)

We are getting so excited to take Brennar out for Halloween tomorrow!! He actually is going to his friends 1st Birthday in the afternoon - then to take pictures with his best buddy Eli and Eli's new baby brother Zac, and then over to the cousins to do a little Trick or Treating!! Should be a good time with LOTS of pictures!!

Atlanta Trip

We just got back yesterday from a great weekend trip to Atlanta. We went down to see Shann, Clint's best friend and Brennar's Godfather, he is playing football there. We were able to hang out with him a lot more than we were expecting, it was so nice. We stayed at the hotel that is connected to the CNN Center - it was huge - I had no idea. Sunday, Shann gave us tickets to the game, great tickets btw:) We sat 10 rows up, right behind the Falcons bench. It was really fun to see Shann play at this level, we are so excited for him!

Here Brennar is with his *famous* Godfather!!!I couldn't find any Falcons clothes small enough that fit Brennar, so I bought a black onesie and made one myself:) The front has Shann's number, 39, and the back says Shann and 39 below it - his back is a little too small to fit Schillinger !

Griz game!!!!

This weekend, the Griz came to play Northern Colorado, which is about 30 minutes away from us. I convinced Clint to take the afternoon off so we could take Brennar. We had a great time. Brennar loves anything where lots of people are around so naturally, the football game kept him pretty entertained!!

When I was working in Missoula last fall, Clint came to visit me and we went to a couple of the games then. At one of them we went into the bookstore on campus and I found a #16 jersey (that was Clint's number when he played). I was beyond excited!!! I still haven't taken it to get STAPP put on the back, but I will soon.

After the game, as I was cleaning the kitchen...He is so dangerous, you can't take your eyes off of him for a second!!

Sunday, Clint and I decided to go to a movie and run some errands so we dropped Brennar off with his Grama and Grampa Stapp. As always, it was against my better judgement, not because they can't do it, they are extremely capable, but because I miss him! We weren't even out of their neighborhood and I told Clint I wanted to go back and get him. Clint said no:( but luckily on the way over I sat next to Brennar and took some pictures of him, so I just looked at those instead!

This was a great shot of his two teeth, so I thought you needed to see this one too:) Grama Erin is coming to visit tomorrow so we will have lots of new pictures to add soon!!

What, September is over?????

My goal of having this blog was so that I could let everyone know what was going on with our family, I really had every intention of updating at least once a week, to say the least, I am failing miserably! I am going to try a lot harder, from now on, to do this, I promise!


The month went by incredibly fast for us. We just had so much going on. I am sure this is how most families with school age kids feel, but I just wasn't ready for it. We went to San Diego over Labor Day, then we have just had a bunch of "stuff" happening. Brennar and I started a Music Together class with our good friends Valerie and Eli that is every Tuesday morning - during nap time - so "we" are still deciding if we like it:) but, so far it has been a lot of fun; I decided to do Bunco with the ladies in my neighborhood, which is once a month, and LOVED it; I am doing a womens bible study every Wednesday morning, it has been great so far, I have met quite a few young moms in it, which if great for me; I am trying to do a MOPS group every other Thursday with Valerie; and I am doing a book club once a month with the neighborhood ladies too. We have gone to two Broncos games, two Rockies games and I threw Valerie a baby shower. So... that is why I haven't been good about blogging!!

Although our month was jam packed, we have had so much fun. We love going to the games together and it seems like Brennar does too! Of course, I didn't bring the camera with to any of them:(


Brennar has had a big month too! He has his two bottom teeth now, he is so cute, but I will miss his little gummy smile!

He also had his 9 month check-up yesterday. He is weighing in at 19lbs exactly, which puts him in the 25% and 30 inches exactly, which is 95%. So he is still long and lean like his daddy!

Sorry again for the marathon post, I promise I will be better in the future! And, again, because I just can't help myself, here are a few more pictures of my little prince charming!!

He is definitely a Stapp boy!

I was going to use this to blackmail him when he is older and has a girlfriend, but then I remembered I won't ever need to because I am never going to let him have one!!
