Brennar is looking a little concerned here because the train stopped, he didn't like that idea too much. But, luckily, it only stopped for a few minutes so Santa could get on.
And, a couple minutes later....
The big guy made an appearance! We were towards the back of the car and Brennar waited, not so patiently, for Santa to get to him. It was a LONG few minutes, since he saw him right away:)
But, thankfully, he brought presents!! Each of the kids got a jingle bell and lucky Brennar got 2 since baby sister couldn't hold hers yet:)
After we got back to the station we headed down to Colorado Springs to stay the night at the Broadmoor. Those of you from Colorado know how amazing this hotel was. I was beyond excited. I had only been there once before and it was when I was newly pregnant with Miss Brilee and didn't feel so hot, so I was looking forward to a much more enjoyable trip this time!

My little man and me at one of the many gorgeously decorated trees. I could have walked around for hours looking at all the decorations. The hotel is set perfectly at the base of the mountains and had just a little bit of snow, it was so beautiful.
I was really looking forward to taking Brennar swimming that night, so we made our way down to the pool. Clint got in with Brennar then asked me about 2 minutes later if I wanted to swim with him, so I did. Little did I know how cold the water was. Brennar's little lips were quivering, so we only let him swim for about 5 minutes before we headed back to the room.
Brennar knows how to dine in style! It is quite and adventure to take both kids out to eat anywhere, so we usually opt for take out, but here we got to order room service. Brennar thought it was great:)
He could have entertained himself all day in the room!

Around 10 or so we headed to the North Pole! They have one of the many workshops Santa uses to make toys for kids right here in Colorado! It is a little theme park with a few rides and shows.
