4th of July at the cabin

For our final trip of the summer we went to MN.  I wasn't really looking forward to it because we had been gone so much, but at the same time, was so excited for it, to see all my family and let the kids experience what I did every summer when I grew up.  And the entire week didn't disappoint. It was a blast.  I am not sure which of the 4 of us had the best time!! 6 of us, and the kiddos ran a 5K in town on the 4th, it was a lot of fun, but it was SO hot and humid out. 

 Here is my cousin Jenna, with Brennar and Brilee - Brilee just woke up:)

 This was Brennar's pirate ship (he is obsessed with pirates right now) - if the door of the cabin wasn't always locked, Brennar would just walk out and go play on this by himself. 

 Brilee loved the water - it was so cute to see her just hanging out in the lake

 Brennar was in heaven in the water.  I couldn't even believe him - if he could, he would have been in the lake the entire day!

Brennar talked quite a few people into swimming in the water with him, here he is with my cousin, Maren

He liked tubing with me and Aunt Margo, too

 We stopped the boat in the middle of the lake and Maren jumped out, so Brennar wanted to also, which he did with NO fear, then we all jumped in:)

 Brennar has his first "cousin" on this side of the family, Tristan.  But he didn't really like him, can't you tell:)

Brilee wasn't much of a fan either!!  Both the kids LOVED him!  They went home the day before we did and Brennar was so upset when we said that they left that he told me, "no, mommy, baby Tristan is sleeping, he not go home!!!"

 Brennar also got a little fishing done - he was so cute.  Those of you who are around Brennar much know that he doesn't sit still, EVER!! But, he sat on the dock with Grampa for abot 45 minutes catching fish - he must have liked it

It was such a fun week.  Brennar had a great time with all my cousins - he talked in a sweet little voice and got ALL of them to do whatever he wanted at the time.  We can not wait to go back next year!!
