I am so grateful that we have been able to take such wonderful vacations this summer, and our last definitely did not disappoint!
We stayed at the Disneyland Hotel, which is about a 5 minute walk through Downtown Disney to the entrances of both Disneyland and Disney's California Adventure. When we go back again we will for sure being staying on property again. It was perfect for us.
The lego store was literally right outside our hotel. That is a race car built entirely by legos, above Brennar's head was Woody and Buzz Legos too.
Brilee in front of her favorite princess, Belle and the Beast
On our first day, we landed, had lunch and then dove right in to the parks. We went to DCA and spent the afternoon there. A few years ago they added Cars Land here and it was so cool. It literally looks exactly like Radiator Springs!
Here we are waiting to ride Luigi's Flying Tires
Lightning McQueen even made an appearance.
It was SO hot this day, Brilee took off her skirt and Bryden took everything off:) Even though he was sweaty he was still just as happy as ever!
It's a Bug's Life is also it's own section in DCA and we were able to go on about 3 or 4 rides in just 30 minutes or so
Bryden even went on his first ride there:)
After being at the parks for the afternoon, we went back to the hotel to get settled in and rest a bit because we were going to the show Fantasmic that night. My friend told me about it, and it was awesome. We were able to get tickets for a good section to sit where they had people to give us drinks and dessert. We didn't have to sit there for 2-3 hours to get a good seat, totally worth the money.
Here was the kids' first glimpse of Sleeping Beauty's Castle that night! So fun to see it!
The next morning we went into Disneyland.
Brilee and Brennar both went to the Bibbidi Boppidi Boutique and were treated like royalty as they became a knight and a princess.
Brilee had a great time. She got to go in the shop and pick out any princess dress she wanted. She first wanted Belle, and I had to steer her away from it for a good 10 minutes (that's what she is getting for her birthday from me) and then she wanted Ariel - her second favorite princess. Ariel's dress was a little too grown-up for my liking so again had to talk her out of it. Then she picked out Ariel's other dress that has long sleeves, and as I said before, it was so hot out, so thankfully she let me pick out 3 that had short sleeves and she decided on Tianna, from The Princess and the Frog
Getting her hair all done
Picking out her face glitter
Brennar had a pretty good time too:)
He loves to spike his hair
And he got Mickey Mouse confetti in his, stay tuned for the after picks:)
