Big Sky

We went to Big Sky the last week of July and had the best time - minus a couple really bad hours.

The kids were able to sleep in my parents RV and loved it so much.  It was so fun for me to see my kids experiencing something I loved so so much as a kid!

Brexten helping chop wood for the fire - I swear he isn't as close to the hatchet as it looks in the picture!
Everyone waiting for smores!

Ya, I am not real sure what is happening in this picture

Fishing was a big highlight for them too!  Brexten caught the first fish
Brennar trying out his gear he got last year for his birthday - he only fell in the water twice

Exploring with grampa

And this would be those horrible couple of hours.  Brexten woke up one morning not his usual happy self, but nothing too concerning.  Within an hour of that though he was pale and limp and starting throwing up.  It was so awful.  We took him in to the ER in Big Sky.  They gave him fluids and drew blood, where they determined he was super dehydrated and had VERY low blood sugar. Thankfully within just a few minutes of getting fluids he was feeling a lot better and wanted to eat, and eat, and eat!  It all ended up just fine, but my gosh, was it scary for us all to see him that way.

Picture by the sign, so excited that this will be an annual photo I get soon!
The excavator made it to our lot, wasn't a lot of progress but definitely some!
More fishing, but this time at the lake

Finally Brennar caught another fish too!
It was a super short visit to Big Sky, but we packed in the fun while we were there!
