Numero Dos

We celebrated our 3rd Anniversary while we were in Hawaii again this year.  It was great, I think I am going to make that a tradition:)
Here we are on our way to dinner.  We clean up pretty good; this was the only time the entire trip I put on make up and "semi" did my hair!

My mom, Brennar and I took a walk around the resort while Brilee was napping one morning.  So, we took the opportunity to do a Brennar photo shoot, he kind of liked it I think!
Brennar got his his picture taken with the sheep again...
Here he is with it last year, how cute is that???? He just gets cuter and cuter with age:)
He looks so grown up... just a 2 and a 1/2 year old taking in the view of the Pacific
Exploring with Grama Honey
Mommy and Brennar on the Shake Shake Bridge, if you watch Thomas the Tank Engine, which I am sure all of you do:)  You know what he is talking about
Sitting like a little gentlemen on the train.  This kid doesn't know the meaning of still, I'm not even kidding, but as soon as he sits down on the train, he is a perfect little guy, hands folded and everything:)
They are quite a few parrots around the resort, some friendly, some not so much, we were just looking at this not so friendly one, when it let out a huge screech, it scared Brennar a bit and he grabbed on to me so tight... I hated every second of it!!!
If you read my previous posts, I said how he has been grabbing onto my legs, case in point, I hate every second of that, too:)
The beauty queen finally made an appearance later in the day, and it was quite the sceen if I do say so myself
Am I not the luckiest mommy in the whole world to have such a pretty little girl??
I love her hair so much!! It is so much fun to get to do it everyday!
My mom got this picture of me recording Brilee's first time in the ocean
I think the company that makes this swimsuit should put this picture on their magazine, seriously, she is such a little little lady

Hawaii: Numero Uno

We had the best time in Hawaii, we are so lucky to be able to go two years in a row!! And we didn't take it for granted. We were outside, everyday, all day, it was great, definitely my kind of vacation!! I (ok maybe Grama) took over 500 pictures, so I seperated them into a few different posts - dont worry I'll only posted about 50!

Here is my little Hawaiian Princess:)
Brennar wanted his picture taken with the fish, so we did the best we could...
Family book reading time before bed
Is he not the cutest little thing you ever saw??? He is such a little stud
His first step in the water, he liked it just as much this year is he did last year, thank goodness because it would have been an super long week for him
Just loungin with mom
Seriously, he is a such a cutie!
"Daddy, you chase me in the water"
He absolutely LOVED going down the slides in the pool.  This was his first time down, and his only time with help...after he tried it once he would only do it by himself
Even face first!!
But, catching him at the bottom before he got dunked was ok with him:)
He could not have had a better time!  There were 3 little slides like these, but lots of big ones, unfortunately he was 2 inched shy of the height requirement, guess we will have to go back next year so he can try them out, too!!

Not sure who is having a better time here, Brennar or mommy!!
Miss Princess was napping while we were at the pool this day, but came down to watch for a bit when she woke up
This next picture will need a little explaining... Brennar, like most kids I'm sure, likes to push the buttons in elevators, so we let him.  The first day we were there, he was pushing the button with his right hand and his other was on the elevator door.  Well, the door started moving and he didn't move his hand and it got stuck in between the door and where the door goes in to the side of the elevator. Not sure if that makes sense??? Anyways,i t was so sad!! Poor kid, it took quite a bit of strength to get it out and it was all black and blue, I was sure he broke some fingers.  Thankfully, it was better a few hours later and only had a little bruising.  But, that didn't stop him from wanting to push the buttons every other time we were in the elevator. So, we made him put his left hand on his head while he pushed the button and then put his right on his head when he was done until we got out of the elevator.  It worked like a charm:)

Park in my backyard!!

The weekend before we went to Hawaii, my parents came down and my dad did something extra special for Brennar.  He put a park in his backyard.  Its actually just a swing/play set, but how cute is it that he thinks he has a park in his backyard???
This was a huge undertaking.  The box (or boxes!) say that it should take about 15-16 hours to complete, wrong!!! We started working on it Thursday morning and we literally worked all day Thursday, Friday and Saturday. I think that it probably could have taken a little less time, but those of you who know my dad know he is a perfectionist, so this thing is not coming down, EVER!!

Here are the step by step pictures

 Brennar even helped out:)

 See!!
We cannot thank him enough!! We are so happy to have this up before the start of summer, I know we will be spending countless hours out here throughout the year!! Thank you, Grampa!!!

After all the hard work, Brennar decided Sunday before Grampa left he needed to ride his bike for awhile.

How many adults does it take to get a kid ready for a bike ride??????
 And he is off!!
