Brilee's 8th Birthday party

 We celebrated Brilee's birthday a month early - its just so hard with it being right when school starts and this year I have my surgery a week before her big day, so this worked out perfectly!

Her friends Hannah and Hailey came up all the way from New Mexico, she was thrilled!

So were the boys, we miss them so much!

 And I loved getting to see one of my best friends too!

 Brexten was a little mad he didn't have a water gun to play with, but that didn't stop him from wearing a donut pool float for a hat

Camps

Each summer the kids really look forward to the camps our church has, the also got to go to a shorter camp at our climbing studio in town, they had fun but not sure they will do it again

Brexten didn't get to go to the climbing/ninja camp, so he was thrilled to have them home

He really misses them while they are gone - I think he's going to struggle when Bryden does full day school this year

Tee ball and Football

Bryden had such a blast playing tee ball this year - it was so fun to have him play with so many close friends, we were definitely sad to see it end

He loved that daddy coached him. He sees Clint coach Brennar and he was thrilled for him to do it for him too

Grandpa Art was able to come to his last game - it always fun to have other people cheer him on besides mom and dad

Brennar got the opportunity to play football at the broncos practice facility  - it was really fun for them

Brennar also got a chance to pitch in one of his games - he loved it, got a little frustrated with himself for a couple guys he walked, but also struck out 3 guys for no scores while he was in

Colorado hikes

I got a couple pictures Clint took when he took Brennar up to Missoula - can't get over what a cool experience this was for Brennar!

We've tried taking the kids for a few hikes this summer and they've gone so well.  Everyone seems to really enjoy being outside and being as loud and crazy as they want.

This is the Flat Irons - right outside of Boulder

Last weekend we went on one outside of Lyons and we were the only people there - it was so so cool.  Except there were signs to beware of mountain lions all over the place, so I literally kept looking behind me every 2 minutes to make sure we weren't being stalked - luckily we weren't and we all made it out safely
